2026 Ford
Bronco Sport
Standard AWD. Best-in-Class Cargo. Ready for Whatever Western Kentucky Throws at It.
Enough Truck for the Trail. Practical Enough for Everything Else.
The Bronco Sport is not a diluted off-roader. Ford gave it genuine hardware -- standard AWD, 8.8 inches of ground clearance, G.O.A.T. terrain modes, and a cargo floor that fits two bikes standing up with the rack option. It is sized right for Hopkinsville driving: fits in a normal parking space, gets 27 MPG on the highway, and parks without drama at Jennie Stuart Health on a busy weekday.
The 2026 model brings two new colors -- Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Space White Metallic -- a Ford Connectivity Package with a free year of connected navigation and Wi-Fi, and a new Bronze Package available on Big Bend and Badlands for buyers who want a distinctive appearance. Ford also discontinued the Free Wheeling trim for 2026, tightening the lineup to four clear options: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.
For families in the Fort Campbell area who want one vehicle that handles morning drop-offs, weekend trips to Land Between the Lakes, and occasional trail use without compromise, the Bronco Sport builds a genuine case. The Badlands, in particular, earns its premium with hardware that actually changes what the vehicle can do off-road.
2026 Bronco Sport Exterior Colors
Two new colors join for 2026: Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Space White Metallic. Oxford White, Shadow Black, and Carbonized Gray Metallic are available on all trims at no extra cost. Premium tri-coat finishes carry additional charges.
Swatches are approximate. Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat cannot be paired with the Bronze Package. Contact Pennyrile Ford at 270-886-8131 to confirm color availability on vehicles in stock.
The Right Engine for How You Use It.
The 1.5L handles daily driving well and returns 27 MPG combined. The Badlands' 2.0L adds 70 more horsepower and the torque to actually use the seven G.O.A.T. modes it ships with. Both use an 8-speed automatic with standard AWD.

65 Cubic Feet. And They Hid Space Everywhere.
Ford claims best-in-class maximum cargo space at 65 cubic feet with the rear seats folded -- and it earns it. Behind the rear seats you have 32.5 cubic feet of cargo. Fold the seats and the floor lies flat. The raised roof gives more vertical clearance than most competitors at the same price. Under the rear seats is a dedicated storage compartment for gear you want to keep accessible but out of sight. There is also an integrated bottle opener in the liftgate, which is either a gimmick or the most useful feature on the vehicle depending on where you spend your weekends.
- 32.5 cu ft behind rear seat; 65 cu ft maximum
- Flat-folding rear seats with flat load floor
- Rear underseat lockable storage compartment
- Available interior bike rack -- fits two bikes standing upright
- Available roof rails for kayaks, camping gear, or cargo boxes
- Liftgate-integrated bottle opener -- genuinely useful
- Available full-size spare tire for trail readiness
Standard 4x4. Real Trail Hardware. Not Just a Badge.
Every Bronco Sport comes with AWD and G.O.A.T. modes that include Off-Road, Sand, Slippery, Sport, and Normal. The Badlands goes further with its twin-clutch rear drive unit that can direct virtually all torque to a single rear wheel, seven drive modes including Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl, standard steel skid plates, and recovery hooks. For western Kentucky's mix of muddy back roads and the occasional trail out toward Mammoth Cave country, the Badlands is genuinely prepared.

- 8.8 inches of ground clearance
- Big Bend: 5 G.O.A.T. modes, available HOSS 1.0 off-road suspension

Practical Materials. Surprisingly Comfortable. Easy to Clean.
The Bronco Sport interior prioritizes durability over luxury, and that is the right call for a vehicle this purpose-built. Rubber floor mats, easy-clean materials, and drain plugs in the cargo area are not accidents -- they are design choices for buyers who actually use the vehicle outdoors. Higher trims add comfort without sacrificing that durability baseline.

- Heritage: plaid cloth seating with white retro accents, unique white exterior details

- Wireless charging pad standard

SYNC 4 -- 13.2-Inch Standard on Every Trim
The 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen running SYNC 4 is standard on all 2026 Bronco Sport trims -- not an upgrade. An 8-inch digital instrument cluster displays key driving info. The system handles navigation, climate, off-road display screens, and entertainment.

Each mode adjusts throttle mapping, AWD torque distribution, and traction control response for the terrain you are on. The Outer Banks with the Sasquatch Package also unlocks HOSS 3.0 suspension for more serious trail use.

It eliminates messy wiring runs and gives a clean, factory-integrated look to aftermarket gear.
